30 new affordable homes for Midlothian

We are delighted to assist Melville Housing Association with the legals for the phased development at Pentland Green. The Public Sector team at Harper Macleod has provided advice on all property aspects in the phased acquisition by Melville of the sites designated for affordable housing within the Pentland Green development.

The latest tranche of a larger 56-home project will deliver 30 new social rented homes and the construction is scheduled to take place over the next 18 months. 

Cabinet Secretary Shona Robison said: “We want everyone to have a safe, warm affordable home that meets their needs. These 56 new homes for social rent, supported by £4.25 million of Scottish Government funding, will support the local community and make a real and lasting difference to the lives of the new residents."
